Why we call ourselves Mariner
Since ancient times, Mariners have been dreamers and adventurers who set out on a voyage of discovery to learn new things and stretch human experience and accomplishment. In modern times, as NASA set out to explore the solar system, it named this spaceship of discovery “Mariner”. As a S.T.E.A.M. learning academy (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematic), Mariner Montessori believes every child has the creativity and spirit to learn and discover – through play, art, and science.
With Montessori style combined with S.T.E.A.M. learning concept, we believe that our method will prepare children for the 21st century. Although S.T.E.A.M. education is known for older children, we believe that building an early foundation in S.T.E.A.M. creates a platform for future academic and career success. By introducing S.T.E.A.M concept earlier, we strongly believe that children are better in grasping the subjects, developing an appreciation for traditionally “scary” subjects, and preparing for academic years ahead.
